The full story of the Amarnath road, where the accident happened: There are 5 star langars, but they do not even feel like eating anything; the horses also fall
The path of Amarnath Yatra is a journey of thorns
. Narrow roads… Somewhere snow… Somewhere ate…. Pedestrians also have to deal with horses. Most of the road is such, where a little carelessness can lead to death. In such a situation, now the disaster of cloudburst has made the condition of the passengers staying there very difficult.
It took 48 hours to go from bottom to top…
We reached Nunwan Base Camp in Pahalgam on the evening of 29th June with the first batch of Amarnath Yatra. As soon as we entered the valley, there was a relief from the scorching and sultry heat in Jammu.
In the valleys of Kashmir, we found a hideout in the tent in the lap of pine trees late in the evening. The tent was looked after by Mushtaq, a resident of Anantnag. We were the first guests of this season of Mushtaq Bhai. The joy of getting the first guest could be felt on his face and in his speech. As the night progressed, the noise of the cold wind had increased. Now the next morning and the adventures that began with it awaited.
Story of the next morning…
5:00 am. Icy water hit the mouth, for a second it felt like the current had struck, but the hot tea and snacks from the langars and stores revived the enthusiasm. This time around 140 langars have been installed in the Amarnath Yatra. Most of them are from Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan.
First stop Pissa Top…
The first stop for the travelers was Pissa Top. Quite a straight climb, a river flowing on one side and a ditch on the other side. It felt for a moment how thousands of people would climb this steep mountain, but seeing the group of travelers started moving forward.
Second stop Sheshnag…
After resting at the flea top and tasting a little langar, we proceeded to our next stop at Sheshnag. Pedestrians reached Sheshnag after a trek of about 5 hours. On reaching here, a beautiful lake was seen which was covered with snow from three sides. The water of the lake was as blue as the sky.
The third stop is Panchtarni…-
From Sheshnag base camp we had to leave for Panchtarni at 6 am. This route was 14 kms. The first batch left from here with the tricolor in hands and slogans of 'Bam Bhole'.
Panchtarni is the confluence of five glaciers
Panchtarni is a green plain surrounded by five glacier mountains. The Panchtarni river is formed by the water coming out of these glaciers. This is the biggest traveler camp before reaching the Amarnath cave on the Pahalgam route.
